About the Event

Through participation in this program, youth will:

Leanrn about Project Change and its signature programs (You Have the Power! Community ServiceNetwork, and Youth Empowered Service)

Learn the value of high-quality service opportunities

Develop competencies in program planning

Understand the value of participating in volunteer activities, both personally and for the benefit of theircommunity

Develop leadership skills necessary for successful, meaningful participation in high school and communityservice activities

Learn how to work effectively with others in project teams

Identify potential volunteer opportunities in personal areas of interest

Have the opportunity to take on leadership roles in Project Change activities

Students will also earn 15 service-learning (SSL) hours.
